The School Administration Foundation Certificate (SAFC) programme (course code: 310) is designed for individuals who are looking to improve their skills in school administration.

The National College for Teaching and Leadership recognised SAFC as entry level onto the Level 4 Diploma in School Business Management (formerly CSBM) programme, should you wish to continue your development through this very popular suite of programmes.

If you feel a Level 3 equivalent (approximates to ‘A’ level standard) programme is the right starting point for your development, then this is the programme for you. Please contact us if you need to discuss your eligibility for the most appropriate programme.

The programme commences with either a face-to-face session (blended learning version) or an introductory WebEx (fully online version) and the launch of module 1. Subsequent modules will be launched at set times throughout the programme and will commence with a short module video, via a link provided by your tutor. All module work is submitted for assessment by e-mail.
SAFC is an 8 month programme in which participants will need to successfully complete four modules of study (2 months per module):
• Managing self and personal skills
• Working with people
• Effective use of resources
• Achieving results (work-based project)
