We are the largest and most experienced provider of school business management programmes, having delivered school business manager (SBM) training to thousands of school business managers since 2003.
The NEW Level 4 Diploma for School Business Managers is accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) and this is the most popular starting point for many participants wanting a recognised SBM qualification. It was formerly known as the Certificate of School Business Management or CSBM.
The newly-launched Level 5 Diploma for School Business Leaders is also accredited by the ILM (and was previously referred to as the Diploma of School Business Management or DSBM).
New SBM apprenticeship standards will also be available in Spring/early Summer 2018 (see News item below). Details of the new Level 4 School Business Professional apprenticeship are now available here.
Whichever level you choose, you will benefit from a recognised qualification which will help you manage your school’s resources more effectively and enhance your own professional standing. The Department for Education is looking to school leaders, business professionals and teachers for their views on how they can best support schools to use apprenticeships in their workforces. Please could you respond to this survey, which only takes a couple of minutes to complete by Monday 17th September at 9am?
We are getting closer to launching our new CMDA (School Professionals) degree apprenticeship, aimed at senior school business managers and leaders. Projected start date should be late November 2018 – more details will appear soon on the CMDA (Schools) page.
